July 23 – 26, 2008 at Ohio Theatre, New York

Performed with a live band and sung by an ensemble cast, Greendale explores the lives of three generations of the Green family through themes ranging from corruption to mass media consolidation to environmentalism. Described by Neil Young as a “musical novel”, Greendale was released in 2003 as an album (voted one of the best albums of 2003 by Rolling Stone Magazine), a film, and a rock tour. It is soon to be published as a graphic novel and this spring it will be produced as a play premiering at Undermain.
