Cat’s Paw by Mac Wellman
“The world is a place not suited for much except trickmaking. The world is a place suitable for total bewilderment, suitable for the practice of befuddlement, at best.”
Directed by Katherine Owens

Jane Bub, an educated and savvy urban dweller, must suffer the interference of her visiting mid-western mother, Hildegard. Along for the ride are her best friend Jo, a ‘faded liberal’, and Jo’s daughter Lindsay, a prep school fascist. All across New York City, these four women confront each other over the lines of family, friendship, and devastating romantic secrets.
