Profanity by Sylvan Oswald

“This is the genetic material. The illiteracy. The rejection. The tooth decay. The suspicion. The isolation, the restriction, the ostracizing, the presumption of guilt, the feeling. The fire. The new world, the abandonment, the birthing, the working, the raping, the learning to read, the walking to school, the assassinating, the fantasizing, the assimilating.”

Profanity is a play about brothers in 1950s Philadelphia who have big dreams for the family real estate business.
