Wallpaper Psalm by Ruth Margraff
“Naked would be perfect but you’ll always have a tiny bruise, a scratch, a sore throat or your dinner bulging or some holy fetus cell dividing.”
Directed by Katherine Owens
January 30 – February 13, 1999 at Undermain Theatre
Twisting and turning in and out of reality and insanity, Wallpaper Psalm is a punk-driven operatic experiment of avant-garde text and music. Approaching death, two sisters live out the end of their lives in what was once an elegant apartment attended only by the enigmatic doorman and visited by a savage intruder proclaiming the approach of The Radio Spider Demon.
